A house fire destroyed a home in Fayette County.
The blaze broke out about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on Beaver Road in the Rock Lick area of Minden, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. A spokeswoman for the sheriff's department said the home was vacant, and no injuries were reported.
Units from the Oak Hill and the Fayetteville volunteer fire departments battled the fire. The sheriff's office is assisting in the investigation to determine the cause.
