A bicyclist was struck in the Ridgeview area of Boone County.
Boone County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Chad Barker said the incident happened about 6:30 a.m. on Route 1 Thursday morning. The area is between Foster and Nellis.
The bicyclist was being flown by a HealthNet helicopter to Charleston for treatment. Barker said the injured person is an 18-year-old male.
