The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health is expanding its immunization programs across the state.
The group joined with local leaders Wednesday to get both young and old West Virginians to participate in the “Take Your Best Shot” project.
The project started as a way to get adolescents to stay up-to-date on their vaccinations, and spun off the West Virginia adult immunization campaign. It is focused on improving and sustaining adult immunization rates in the mountain state.
"Take Your Best Shot's" director said the program continues to grow every year.
