Police say a man who ran off to Detroit after shooting a man in Huntington is behind bars.
Cortland Wilmont was extradited back to West Virginia Wednesday.
Huntington police say in October of 2011 Wilmont shot Joshua Ellis in the pelvis over a fight about money Ellis owed him.
Wilmont is charged with malicious wounding and is in the Western Regional Jail on $100,000 bond.
