A contractor with a long history of scamming customers and ignoring judge's orders to stop it, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Kanawha Circuit Court to three felonies.
Gary Lomax faces up to 30 years in jail. He pleaded guilty to obtaining money under false pretenses.
Prosecutors said he claimed to have performed contracting work at several homes in Kanawha County, but he never did the work.
Lomax has already been in jail a year, but the judge refused to cut his bond, after learning he ignored orders from other judges to stop doing contracting work. He will be sentenced next month.
