It was gambling for the greater good Tuesday night when dozens came out for a special poker game to help out local charities.
The event is called Chips for Charity, and it took place at the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort.
This year, 39 charities were represented including the American Cancer Society and Appalachian Children's Chorus.
Among Tuesday night’s players were Eyewitness News Anchor Patrick McMurtry and Reporter Kennie Bass.
