Huntington Police have arrested a man they said dropped a bag of meth-making materials near them while they were investigating an unrelated crime.
Eric E. Mount, 42, of Huntington, was charged with operating a clandestine lab. On Tuesday, detectives were in the 4400 block of Altizer Ave. when they said they saw the suspect dump a black plastic bag next to a dumpster, according to a criminal complaint file at the Cabell Magistrate Court. Detectives said they opened the bag and found meth-making materials inside.
Mount was arrested on Wednesday.
Huntington police are looking for a man they said attempted to operate a methamphetamine lab.
An arrest warrant was issued for Eric Mount. Police said they saw someone drop a bag of meth-making materials in the parking lot of Skateland on Altizer Avenue in Huntington. Mount is wanted in connection with that discovery.
