Huntington police are investigating a robbery Tuesday at a convenience store.
Police said the robbery took place about 8:45 a.m. at Go-Mart on Washington Avenue on Huntington's West Side. Police said the suspect walked up to the cashier, said he was armed and demanded money. The suspect never showed a weapon but got away with cash. Police said the suspect ran behind the store headed west, and discarded his coat and bandana as he fled.
Police said the suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black hooded coat, with a red bandana covering his face.
