Firefighters are trying to determine what caused an apartment building to catch on fire.
It happened in the 2900 block of 3rd Avenue in Huntington around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
We are told that the building is a house that had been turned into several apartments.
Everybody made it out safely.
The man who rented the apartment where the fire started says he woke up and saw smoke. He says he is not certain how the fire started, but says he was using his oven as an extra heating source.
Firefighters have not confirmed that is what started the fire.
