Many groups came together Sunday on West Virginia State University's campus to celebrate Black History Month.
Show choirs from Capital High School and Horace Mann Middle School performed along with church choirs. There was also an African-American art exhibit on display.
Organizers said it’s important to come together during the month of February to celebrate black history.
The program was put together by the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
