Kentucky State Police Search For Escaped Work Release Inmate

Kentucky State Police in Pikeville are searching for a man who they said walked away from his scheduled work release.

Troopers are looking for 24 year old Jeremiah Young, who is missing from the Pike County Detention Center, a news release from the State Police said. Troopers said Young was last seen in the Elkhorn City area of Pike County wearing green pants with "inmate" written on them. Young is described as 6' and 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to call the Kentucky State Police at (606) 433-7711.
