A Greenup County grand jury indicted three people in the double murder of two people that happened in 2008 in Kentucky.

Willie Burns, 24, Chrissie Royster, 24, and Sammie Bertram, 23, all of Garrison, were charged with double murder, robbery, arson and tampering with physical evidence. The Greenup County Sheriff's Department served the three suspects with the indictment warrants on Thursday, according to a news release from the department.

The three suspects are charged with the murders of Jeff Long and Pamela Willis in February 2008 after their bodies were discovered in a burned out trailer. All are being held at the Greenup County Detention Center. Bertram is being held with a $1 million cash bond only. Royster and Burns have a $500,000 cash bond set.

Mitchell Royster, 24, of Garrison pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 22 years in prison in January in connection with the crimes. Ashley Craft, 23, of Garrison was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Four people have been charged in connection with a double murder in Greenup County, Ky., after a five-year investigation.

Chrissie Bertram-Royster, 23, Sammy Bertram, 22, Willie Burns, 23, and Ashley Craft, 23, all of Garrison, was arrested Thursday. The Greenup County Sheriff's Department, with assistance from Kentucky State Police and the Lewis County Sheriff's Department, were able to develop new information that led to a break in the double murder case. Jeffrey C. Long and Pamela L. Willis were found dead after a trailer had been set on fire in February 2008.

Mitchell Royster, 24, of Garrison, pleaded guilty in connection to the case. Royster was sentenced to 22 years in Greenup County Circuit Court on Thursday. Deputy David Bocook, who has been investigating the case, said Royster has been cooperative in the case.

Bertam-Royster, Bertram and Burns were charged with two counts of capital murder, robbery, arson and tampering with evidence. Craft was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

The suspects are being held at the Greenup County Detention Center.
