The Putnam County Sheriff's Department released the name Friday afternoon of the man who died when his vehicle went over a hill in Putnam County.
Jeffrey Bowers, 48, of Red House died in the accident, the sheriff's office said. The wreck occurred about 8 a.m. on Grandview Ridge Road in Liberty.

The vehicle was discovered about 8 a.m. Friday. An emergency dispatcher said the wreck occurred on Grandview Ridge Road in Liberty.
Residents have complained about the condition of the road and said there are no guardrails.
Emergency workers were responding to a report of a vehicle over a hill in Putnam County Friday.
The accident happened about 8 a.m. in the Red House area, dispatchers said.
