This time of the year, pink is usually a color we see on roses or boxes of chocolates, but on one farm in Southern Jackson County, it can be seen on a cow.
The cow, named 'Smokey', was dyed pink to celebrate Valentine's Day. Smokey will turn one year old on March. 28. She is a twin and was orphaned at birth.
The coloring is a non-toxic mixture of water color paint and mane & tail conditioner.
