Three new businesses will soon be opening in the Melody Mountain shopping complex in Ashland, Ky. this year.
Dick's Sporting Goods, Petsmart, and Shogun Restaurant are expected to reside in the complex, Ashland City Commissioner Kevin Gunderson said. Shogun Restaurant, a Japanese hibachi-style eatery, will locate in the old Five Guys Restaurant spot in spring of this year. Dick's Sporting Goods and Petsmart is slated to open in September 2013.
Traffic patterns will change with the increase in commerce. Two additional turn lanes from US 23 will be added.
Another national retailer is expected to announce it's grand opening in the shopping complex this year.
