The Ashland Police Department issued an arrest warrant for the owner of a novelty shop on felony drug charges.
Yvonda Nichols, 55, of Greenup was charged with the use and investment of drug-related income. On Wednesday, police searched Dark Wings Novelty Shop in the 500 block of 29th Street in Ashland and said they found synthetic drugs, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of suspected marijuana.
Further charges could be pending when the case is presented to a Boyd County grand jury.

Ashland police served a search warrant at Dark Wings Novelty Shop at 514 29th St. The search warrant was executed for suspected synthetic narcotics and paraphernalia.
