Huntington police arrested a man who is suspected of the armed robbery of a pharmacy on Wednesday. Jeremy Johnson, 30, of Huntington was arrested at a home in the 2800 block of N. Staunton Street Thursday, Lt. John Williams of the Huntington Police Department said. Officers arrested the suspect without incident after he surrendered. Police said the CVS on 20th Street and Eighth Avenue in Huntington was robbed at around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police said the suspect handed the cashier a note saying he had a gun. The two suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot, according to police. Investigators said they will soon identify the second suspect in the robbery. Huntington police have issued a warrant for 30-year-old Jeremy Johnson in connection to a robbery of a CVS pharmacy. Johnson is 6'5", weighs 240 pounds and has multiple tattoos. Huntington police are investigating a report of an armed robbery at a pharmacy. Police got the call of an armed robbery at CVS on Eighth Avenue and 20th Street about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Dispatchers said one of the suspects handed employees a note indicating they had a gun. Police are looking two white men wearing hooded sweatshirts who fled on foot near the train tracks. Huntington Police Lt. John Williams said one man was between 6'0" and 6'2" wearing a tan jacket and jeans. The second male was about 5'10" medium build. He had a Marshall jacket on and jeans. He told us both of them were covered up in the face with dark-colored hoodies. They spent the afternoon walking and driving around the neighborhood, talking to potential witnesses and trying to see if they could spot the two men. No other details are available at this time.
