A man was killed after a tractor-trailer hit his car after it lost control in Floyd County, Ky.
Mayfield Pennington, 62, of Pikeville, was pronounced dead about 3 p.m. Tuesday. State Police said in a news release that Pennington's Corvette was heading southbound on U.S. 23 in Stanville. Troopers said he lost control and ended up facing northbound traffic, where a tractor-trailer hit his car.
