Beckley Water Company has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory that was issued on Tuesday. The advisory was issued for Maple Fork Rd. from Mitchell Ln. to Lansing St., including all adjacent streets.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption, according to a news release from the water company.
The Beckley Water Co. has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers on Maple Fork Road, from Mitchell Lane to Lansing Street.
Crews said a water main broke, and they are trying to fix it as quickly as possible.
Customers should boil their water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, bathing, brushing teeth and cleaning.
