Detectives with the FADE Drug Task Force were able to arrest a man in connection with a drug investigation that lasted months.
William D. Darling, 47, of Russell was arrested on Monday. Detectives searched his home in the 400 block of Railroad Street and found oxycodone pills, cash and a loaded shotgun, according to a news release from the FADE Task Force.
Darling was charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
