Fire ripped through a garage and residence in Ona, leaving two people homeless.
It happened Monday in the 3200 block of Route 60.
Owners of a nearby business said James Jackson and his son, who lived in the trailer, tried to put out the blaze, but the fire was too much.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire. Route 60 was closed for a period while crews battled the blaze.
No injuries were reported.

Both directions of the road were shut down following a blaze that involved a trailer and a car. The fire broke out about 3 p.m. Monday.

We are told a trailer and a car are now on fire.
No injuries were reported.
