Bond was reduced in half Wednesday for a cast member of the MTV reality show "Buckwild" who is facing multiple drug charges. A Nicholas County magistrate lowered the bond for Salwa Amin, 24, Wednesday from $200,000 to $100,000. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing. Charges will now be presented to a grand jury. Amin is charged with possession intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute oxycodone and two counts of conspiracy. The reality cast member is charged along with two others, Shawn Booker and Jason Jones. She is lodged in the Central Regional Jail. A cast member of the MTV reality show “Buckwild” facing multiple drug charges appeared for a video court arraignment Monday and maintained her innocence. “These charges are wrong,” Salwa Amin, 24, said during the video arraignment from the Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods. Amin is charged with possession intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute oxycodone and two counts of conspiracy. The reality cast member is charged along with two others, Shawn Booker and Jason Jones. Police said they received a tip that a large amount of heroin was being brought into the state in a vehicle with a Michigan license plate. Authorities said they followed Jones to his residence in Summersville and found drugs and the three suspects in an outbuilding. Amin allegedly had pills in her purse, and Jones reportedly had a lot of cash, police said. All three suspects had their video arraignments, and were lodged at the Central Regional Jail. Nicholas County Magistrate John Morton set bond at $200,000 for all three suspects. They will have to post property or 10 percent cash to meet the bond requirements. A cast member of the MTV reality show "Buckwild" is facing a drug charge in West Virginia. Salwa Amin, 24, was being held at the Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver. Records show Amin was booked into the jail at 12:50 a.m. Monday. Details of her arrest and the charge weren't immediately available. Central Regional Jail Administrative Sgt. Rick Drake says Amin doesn't want to talk to the media. He didn't know whether she had a lawyer. MTV announced last week that the show will be picked up for a second season. A spokesman and a spokeswoman for MTV didn't immediately return telephone messages Monday. "Buckwild" was filmed largely around Sissonville and Charleston. One of the reality stars from the hit MTV show Buckwild was arrested overnight in Nicholas County. Salwa Amin is charged with possession with the intent to deliver. Amin is booked in the Central Regional Jail. Buckwild is the controversial MTV reality show that follows around seven friends in Sissonville and tapes their antics. The show has garnered some criticism from officials around the Mountain State.
