Pennsylvania authorities said Friday that they believe a girl who was abducted from Preston County was found, and a police source said a suspect may be in custody.
WTAE in Pittsburgh reported that the Preston County Communications Center had issued a "be on the lookout" alert for a 2-year-old girl who was believed to be in a four-door white Toyota Corolla with a cracked front windshield and West Virginia license plate. A child was later found in Washington County. Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating, but the child is believed to be the one who was involved in Friday's incident from West Virginia.
Meanwhile, a police source told the station that there was a large amount of police activity on Route 51 in Baldwin Borough, Pa., where a suspect in the child kidnapping may be in custody.
