A former educational director at a prison was sentenced for having sex with an inmate.
Standley Greene, 44, of Charleston was sentenced Thursday in Mason County. Greene was the director of education at the Lakin Correctional Facility for Women in West Columbia. Greene pleaded guilty to sexual imposition on an incarcerated person. In August 2008, Greene had sex with a female inmate while he was an instructor there, the Mason County Prosecutor's Office said.
Greene was sentenced to one to five years in prison. Once he has served his sentence, Greene will have 15 years of extended supervision and must register as a sex offender.
