Gun supporters gathered in the rain Wednesday morning to rally at the West Virginia state capitol in Charleston.
The demonstrators said they wanted to protect their Second Amendment right to bear arms. Many of them do not agree with gun control measures proposed by President Barack Obama.
“The citizens of West Virginia believe in the Second Amendment,” said Brad Craddock of Chapmanville, who attended the rally. “We are hunters. We are sportsmen. We are target shooters. We come from all walks of life.”
