An Ohio man has received his sentence for a number of crimes he committed in Athens County.
Timothy Orsborne, 34, of Glouster was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Thursday, according to a news release from Athens Prosecutor Keller Blackburn. Orsborne pleaded guilty to seven separate indictments that included charges of breaking and entering, petty theft, receiving stolen property, burglary, possession of heroin and aggravated robbery.
The crimes stretch from Nov. 2011, to October 2012, the release said. In October 2012, Orsborne drove the getaway car involved with an armed robbery of Jewel's Drive Through Carryout in Glouster. The man who committed the robbery, Jason Johnson, was sentenced in January to 12 years in prison.
