ILLINOIS FUGITIVE CAUGHT Fugitive From Illinois Caught In Huntington

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service CUFFED Task Force caught a fugitive from Illinois on Tuesday.
Thomas Ray III was captured in the 2100 block of Ninth Avenue about 10:30 a.m. after a short chase, according to a news release from police. Ray was on parole for a 2006 kidnapping conviction and is a person of interest in a threat investigation of a judicial official in Illinois.
Investigators found a .40-caliber pistol and ammunition on Ray. Several firearms and a silencer were found in the house where he was staying.
