Kanawha County has missed three days of school for snow so far this year and makeup days have been scheduled.
School officials said the days missed for snow were Oct. 30, Oct. 31 and Feb. 1.
The makeup snow days have been scheduled for March 4, March 29 and May 24, which will now be the last day of school with a two-hour early dismissal, school officials said.
In many counties, school officials are trying to figure out schedule adjustments. The severe weather has caused districts to exhaust the number of snow days they can miss without running the risk of cutting into their 180 days of instructional time.
