You can help a Kanawha Valley teenager who is battling cancer just by eating out Tuesday.
The Chick-Fil-A in Southridge is holding "Spirit Day" and will donate 10 percent of its sales to Makayla Clark, 17, and her family.
The Marmet teenager has been in and out of the hospital since October. She is currently receiving cancer treatments at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
Organizers said this is a simple way to give back to such a special girl.
Make sure you take a flier about the event to the restaurant, otherwise your purchase won't count toward the donation total. You can find that flier on the WCHS and WVAH TV Facebook page.
