The State Fire Marshal's Office is trying to determine what caused a fatal fire that killed an elderly man confined to his bed.
The fire happened at a home in the 600 block of Jakes Run Road in Elkview around 4:30 p.m Monday.
Eyewitness News has been told the man lived in the home by himself, but did have a caretaker who checked in on him.
When crews got on the scene, they say the home was engulfed in flames.
The name of the victim has not been released.
