West Virginia officials are reviewing the use of the state's fleet of airplanes and helicopters.
Administration Secretary Ross Taylor told the Charleston Gazette that officials want to determine what's best for the state.
The review comes as use of the state's King Air 350 and a Cessna Grand Caravan has declined. The King Air's flights have dropped from 302 in 2006 to 197 in 2012. Use of the Cessna has fallen from 199 flights to 95 during the same period.
Taylor said there doesn't appear to be a specific reason for the decline.
The planes are primarily used by the governor's office. The departments of transportation, commerce and environmental protection also use them.
The state Aviation Division also has three helicopters.
