All of those snow flakes do not mean you have to be hunkered down inside all this weekend.
Organizers of the Charleston Winter Series Walks/Runs said the final installment of this season's series is still a go for this Sunday. The 5,000-meter walk (3.1 miles) is scheduled for 1 p.m. and a 10,000-meter run (6.2 miles) is slated for 2 p.m.
All events start at 31st Street and Virginia Avenue in Kanawha City. Registration is at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital.
