PUTNAM COUNTY ROBBERY Deputies Search For Female Who Robbed Hurricane Gas Station At Knifepoint

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a female who robbed the Par Mar/BP gas station in Hurricane at knifepoint.
A female entered the store, located at the intersection of Hospital Drive and Route 34, about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, displayed a knife and demanded money, according to a news release from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said the suspect is described as a blonde female who is about and 5 foot 3 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses. The suspect had parts of her face painted blue.
The suspect fled on foot from the side of the gas station with an undisclosed amount of money. Moments later, a Blue Dodge Intrepid was seen fleeing the immediate area. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the sheriff's department at 304-586-0214.
