A boil water advisory was issued for Egeria, an area in Raleigh and Mercer counties.
The Raleigh County Public Service District said customers should not drink the water without boiling it first. Water should be brought to a boil, let it boil for one minute and then let it cool before using or use bottled water.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation until further notice.
