Raleigh County sheriff’s deputies arrested two robbery suspects, including a man they said they found with a bag of cash and a makeshift mask.
Roland Suttle and Jeffery Fink were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony in connection with a robbery Tuesday at the Venus Lounge in the Crab Orchard area, according to a news release from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
Two deputies were on patrol when they saw a man running from the Venus Lounge across Robert C. Byrd Drive toward Gray Road, the release said. They said they caught the man and found him with a plastic bag containing an undisclosed amount of money and a makeshift mask. The Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center told the deputies the lounge had just reported the robbery.
Deputies said the investigation led to the arrest of Fink. The sheriff’s office also has warrants for a third person, Kenneth Meador, 29, from the Sophia area, in connection with the robbery, the release said.
Anyone with information about Meador’s location is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 304-255-9300.
