A Rand man was arrested on a drug charge after Metro Drug Unit detectives said they found a large quantity of suspected drugs and pills at his residence.
Terrico Lamont Straughter was charged Tuesday with possession with intent to distribute oxycontin, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
Metro Drug Unit detectives said they served a search warrant at Straughter’s residence at 414 Bluefield Ave. and found a large quantity of suspected oxycodone pills, suspected marijuana and suspected crack cocaine, the complaint said.
Detectives said they also discovered a large quantity of U.S. currency, five loaded firearms and two sets of digital scales.
