FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE Flash Flooding Possible With Saturated Ground, Heavy Rain Expected Wednesday

With heavy rain coming into the forecast and the ground already saturated, flash flooding is a possibility for the region on Wednesday.
Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist Jim Barach said flash flooding could be an issue starting at about 2 p.m. Wednesday with 1 inch to 1 and a quarter inches of rain expected. Some areas could receive as much as 2 inches of rain.
Thunderstorms and strong winds are a possibility Wednesday with winds gusting up to 20 mph to 30 mph.
Barach said a cooldown was expected for Thursday and Friday with the possibility of snow.
