West Virginia State Police are investigating a shooting in Logan County in which a man said he was shot by an intruder at his residence.
Troopers said it happened about 7:30 a.m. Friday in Man.
State Police said the victim, Joshua Wynne, told troopers an unidentified man dressed in black clothing came into his home and shot him in the lower leg.
The victim said the man then took off running. Troopers were not able to find him, and there were no witnesses.
Man Middle School, which is located by the scene, was put on lockdown for a couple of hours as a precaution.
The victim was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
West Virginia State Police in Logan County are investigating a shooting that happened Friday morning.
Troopers say it happened at a home in Man and that Man Middle School was put on lockdown as a precaution. School officials said the lockdown has since been lifted. Troopers believe the shooting was not fatal. State Police are investigating.
