A woman who deputies said called 911 for assistance and then asked an officer for a lift received a ride to jail instead.
Robin R. Davis, 41 of Cleveland, Ohio, called 911 asking for assistance Thursday at the Marathon Station at the Edens Fork Exit on Interstate 77, deputies said.
The sheriff's office said Davis told the officer she wanted a ride to Lincoln County. That's when deputies checked her driver's license and discovered she was wanted by Ohio authorities on a parole violation.
Davis was taken to the South Central Regional Jail to await extradition to Ohio.
