A fire on the capital city's west side had traffic rerouted Thursday night.
Firefighters and police responded to a fire at a building along Virginia Street at the intersection of Maryland Avenue. about 6:00 p.m.
Police had Virginia Street West at the corner of Maryland Avenue shutdown until crews were able to get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported. A cause of the fire has not been determined.
