State Police said two men were arrested Wednesday after they led troopers on a chase and then to meth-making materials.
Jason Phillips, 31 and Robert Harvey, 41, were arrested after troopers said the two men led them on a chase along Route 21 into Derricks Creek in the Sissonville area. That's where troopers said the two men ditched the vehicle, removed the license plate and took off inside a residence.
When troopers entered the home, they said, they found Harvey trying to hide meth-making materials.
Phillips has been charged with DUI, fleeing and possession of methamphetamine. Harvey was charged with attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory, possession of methamphetamine, battery on a police officer and obstructing an officer.
Both men were taken to the South Central Regional Jail and were awaiting video arraignment Thursday.
