A man was killed and a woman injured in a two-vehicle crash in Nicholas County.
Tony Allen Lough, 25, of Craigsville was killed in the accident that occurred about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route 20 in Allingdale, according to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department.
The woman injured in the crash, Patricia Doverspike, 65, of Richwood, was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center for treatment. A hospital spokeswoman said she was under evaluation in the emergency room.
The sheriff's department said Lough was driving a car that crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and struck a truck driven by Doverspike.
