MURDER ARREST Man Arrested In Connection With Oak Hill Man's Death

Oak Hill police found a body inside an apartment and make a quick arrest in the man's death.
Police said they responded to a trespassing call at the apartment complex on East Main Street, and found Michael Sheets, 46, unresponsive in the apartment. Police have not released how Sheets died.
Information from the initial investigation led investigators to Jeffrey Lafferty, 39, of Oak Hill who is now charged with murder. Lafferty lives in the apartment where the body was found; Sheets was from the Scarbro area.
Lafferty was lodged in the Southern Regional Jail.
