DRUG BUST Three People Arrested During Drug Raid In St. Albans

Three people are behind bars after police raided a house in St. Albans Friday night.
Court documents say members of the St. Albans Police Special Enforcement Unit searched a home in the 2200 block of Grant Avenue after Timothy Basham sold Opana pills to a confidential informant.
While searching the home, officers allegedly found Demarko Randle and Martaze Davis in the garage surrounded by a large amount of cash and a plastic bag containing several Opana pills. According to the criminal complaint, the men told police they were picking up their drug money from Basham and had missed their bus back to Detroit. That's when Randle allegedly told officers, if they had not missed their bus twice, they would have never been arrested.
Basham is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, and Randle and Davis are charged with possession with intent to deliver and obstructing. Davis allegedly tried to give officers a fake name when he was taken into custody.
Police say both Davis and Randle have outstanding warrants in Michigan.
Davis, Randle and Basham are all currently in the South Central Regional Jail.
