Fayette County deputies need your help to find the person or people they said stole a piece of heavy machinery.
It happened about 3 p.m. Jan. 4 outside of the new Family Dollar store located along U.S. Route 20 in the Meadow Bridge area, Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler said.
A Caterpillar Skid Steer with serial number CED00403, valued at about $50,000 was taken, Kessler said. This picture accompanying this story is not that of the stolen machine, but it shows a similar piece of equipment.
Taylor Enterprises, the owner of that piece of stolen property, is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to an arrest in the case or the return of the stolen equipment.
If you have any information, call the Fayette County Sheriff's Office at 304-574-4305.
