Fans of the annual West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show filled the Charleston Civic Center this weekend, setting a record for turnout. An estimated 20,000 people went through the Civic Center over three days to check out anything and everything you can imagine when it comes to hunting and fishing and the outdoors. Organizers said it's a popular show that grows every year and the Division of Natural Resources uses it as a way to educate the public. The show opened on Friday and wrapped up Sunday. Thousands of hunting and fishing enthusiasts will be flocking to the Charleston Civic Center this weekend for the annual West Virginia Hunting & Fishing Show. The event takes place in the Civic Center Grand Hall Friday through Sunday. More than 200 vendors, outfitters and exhibitors are expected to offer the latest in hunting and fishing gear, information and demonstrations. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission price is $7 for adults and children 6 to 12 is $1. Children under 6 will be admitted free. The auction of a hunting and fishing trip and related items will be 5 p.m. Saturday.
