Controversy continues to follow Multifest, but the event's organizer said he isn't going anywhere.
Stephen Starks said he plans to keep his leadership role as the event's organizer.
Multifest takes place each summer and offers those who come out a chance to experience various cultures.
Many of the event's sponsors have already said they will not continue to give monetary support while Starkses are still involved.
Earlier this month, his wife, Deborah, pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $300,000 from the festival.
The executive director of the Central West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau said the event will likely be canceled as long as the Starkses are involved.
