One month after the shooting massacre that left 20 children and six adults dead at a Connecuticut elementary school, West Virginians in one community came together to remember those lives taken.
Dozens of people attended a benefit concert at the Alban Theater in St. Albans Monday evening.
Local praise and worship singers took to the stage for the crowd of about 50 who attended the benefit.
"One hundred percent of the proceeds made tonight will go directly to the Sandy Hook Fund that they got up there through the Element Federal Credit Union, stationed here in Kanawha City," organizer Andrew Turley said.
