An Ohio man was sentenced after causing the sprinkler system to activate in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Shawn A. Smith, 42, of McArther was sentenced to six months in jail, according to a news release from Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn. Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of vandalism in Athens County Judge L. Alan Goldsberry's courtroom.
