No text message is worth a life; texting while driving kills. In 2011, nearly one quarter of auto collisions involved people using cell phones.
Eyewitness News is trying to educate people about the dangers of distracted driving.

On Wednesday, Eyewitness News will have a texting and driving simulator in our parking lot at the station on Piedmont Road in Charleston.
The event is open to everyone and will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
